Picturing a more satisfying life?
I haven't seen it all (yet), but I have witnessed meaningful transformation in countless lives and relationships.
I use creative interventions to inspire psychological movement in therapy. As both a therapist and artist, I begin work with a background sketch before exploring creative options for building successful outcomes. Whether I'm standing in front of an easel or sitting across from you, my goal is the same -- a beautiful picture with a design that works, and that others can value and appreciate.
In therapy, you are the artist. I collaborate with you, listening for strengths and watching for obstacles. Together we view the whole picture of your life through a systemic lens, exploring the unique system of people, pressures, circumstances, schemas, behaviors, and beliefs that influence your sense of self. Then you add stronger lines and appropriate colors to reveal a more fulfilling image to yourself and others.
